I’m not listening to my inner self, once again, “You have papers to grade.  Stop poking around the Internet!”.

Oh well, I found another helpful site “Teaching and Learning Through Technology” at Illinois Wesleyan University. This is a technology course for K-16 teachers; the teacher-friendly materials are on the UIW course wiki. What makes this very clean, straightforward, simple wiki page such a useful tool for all teachers are the suggested instructional uses of new technology for every subject.

Curious about Online Simulations? You will find “Online Simulations” on the table,  just click. Quickly, applications for science, math, language arts, social studies and foreign language pop up. Still curious about online simulations, helpful links demonstrating the use of simulations in the classroom are provided.

Check this out;  you will see what I mean.  Now ‘you’, “Get back to those papers!”

About Donna

Changing educational paradigms motivate me to share new technology as well as the admirable work of others who integrate contemporary research on how people learn with supportive, free digital applications and resources. Do teachers ever have enough time or money? Perhaps my discoveries will expedite the journey of a busy educator seeking a 21st Century 'true north' of his or her own.
