Brain Rule #10: Vision trumps all other senses

Here is my plug for improving oral presentations.  For creative, enjoyable, professional presentations while also improving teaching and learning in the classroom, educators and students should apply Dr. John Medina’s Brain Rule principles when producing visual slides and rehearsing a speech.   “Death by PowerPoint” with text-heavy, chart-stuffed, endlessly “bulleted” visuals is the best way to put your audience to sleep.  Use “Brain Rules” to redesign left-brained, logical oral presentations into right-brained memorable experiences with more pictures, 10 min. breaks, and less information.
