Brian Crosby, an upper elementary teacher for 29 years, guides the learning in a model technology classroom in Sparks, Nevada using blogs, Skype, community collaboration, a Smart Board, cameras, wikis, and one-to-one student laptops.  Crosby teaches the same group of students for 3 years.  In his class of at-risk students, only 10% speak English as their first language.  Check out the results of his teaching on Collaborative Class Blog.

About Donna

Changing educational paradigms motivate me to share new technology as well as the admirable work of others who integrate contemporary research on how people learn with supportive, free digital applications and resources. Do teachers ever have enough time or money? Perhaps my discoveries will expedite the journey of a busy educator seeking a 21st Century 'true north' of his or her own.
