Cocking and originally published by the United States National Academy of Sciences’ National Academies Press in 1999.  The committee on How People Learn also wrote How Students Learn: History, Mathematics, and Science in the Classroom as a follow-up.

Canadian high school math teacher and international presenter, Darren Kuropatwa says this book is seminal to 21st century teaching and learning.
